The MGS-600 mechanical gauge with alarm sensor is extremely useful for monitoring the liquid levels of generator fuel tanks. The alarm sensor when set for a low level alarm will let the user know when the float reaches a critical level and needs to be refilled. It can also be set for a high level alarm. The unit integrates the function of level measuring and level display directly. As the float goes up and down it shows instantly on the dial. The gauge can be used to measure any static liquid be it water, diesel or other fuel. It is manufactured of sturdy aluminium which adds to the durability of the product.

The unit is made to fit a standard 45 x 2mm metric thread or an Imperial BSP one and a half inch thread.(BSP thread is not available) These are standard sizes for many tanks. If there is no facility on the tank for a screw in mechanical gauge a flange is available with 6 holes. This can be secured with screws to the tank and the mechanical gauge can screw into it. If the user prefers there is a welding flange available. The screw in torque is 300 to 400 Neuton metres and the gauge comes in a variety of lengths ranging from 120mm up to 600mm long. The operating temperature of the unit is between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius.

The alarm sensor has a high level or low level option which can be set by the user. The Output signal is 0-190 ohms rated and alarm current is below 0.5 Amps.
