This high quality durable sensor is manufactured from 316 stainless steel. This makes it resistant to corrosion and very strong. There is no dial on this level measuring unit but there is a very accurate sender that relays the level to the user. The S5 – E280 single tube sensor 280mm can be used on fuel or water tanks and works equally well on either liquid. On the European standard it will show 0 Ohms at empty and 180 Ohms at full. To determine the length of the single tube sensor needed the tank should be measured inside and in a plastic tank the unit should be 25mm less than the tank depth. In a metal tank the gap should be around 12.5mm less than the tank depth.
