Description
24V Battery Charger 3AMP, This well made and reliable switching battery charger adopts the latest switch power components for charging lead acid starting batteries for generators. This charger is suitable for lead acid battery float charge and the maximum current charge is 3 Amps. It is based on a two stage charging system which allows the charger to first boost the constant current and then the constant voltage. Once the battery has reached its full charge the charger then switches to floating charge. This ensures that it is fully charged at all times.
Technical Specifications of the 24V Battery Charger 3AMP
SmartGen 24V Battery Charger 3AMP. The nominal voltage for the 24V BAC06 battery charger is between 100 and 250 Volts. The maximum AC voltage is between 90 and 280 Volts. The frequency is either 50 or 60 Hertz and the maximum input current is 2 Amps.
The charging current is between 2 and 3 Amps with an error of around 2. The factory set charging current is 3 Amps and the maximum power is 85 Watts. The minimum voltage is 7.5 Volts with a no load voltage of 27.6 Volts with and error percentage of around 1 {0ccce4a5d9de31f7b71b100574ca4c8100788d2fb4564b829b6ca746c4b1f3b0}. The no load power consumption is less than 3 Watts. The working temperature is between -30 degrees Celsius and 55 degrees Celsius. The unit can be stored at between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius. The weight of the unit is only 0.69kg and the size is 154.4mm Long by 94.5mm wide by 56mm high.
Characteristics
The unit has two potentiometers which allow easy adjustment for both Volts and Amps. These can be set to the desired setting if different from the standard factory setting. There is no need to disconnect the charger when cranking the generator. The battery charger case is neat and easy to read the terminal inputs and outputs. Most generators fail to start because the battery has run down and no longer contains the required power to turn the generator over and get it to start. The unit is very affordable and will ensure that when the lights go out you will still have all the power you need.
