Description
Each YES1 4 pole ATS switch is sized for a different generator and power requirement. There are many sizes to choose from covering almost all requirements. The unit works by being linked to both mains power and the generator. When it detects the loss of current or voltage in the line it automatically switches on the generator and turns the mains power off, replacing it with the power coming from the generator. It can be set to feed only critical sections of the building or if the generator can provide enough power it will provide power to the entire building. Once the mains power returns the automatic transfer switch shuts down the generator and re-engages the mains power. This can be done many times in succession with only a short cool down time necessary for the generator.
